yesterday was such an emotional/powerful day. some lovely pakistani american friends threw a lavish tea party and i got to say goodbye to so many astonishing women i love. i am so lucky. thank u shahida, anjum, ayesha, darakhshan, farah a, farah m, and najia! and thank u to all the ladies who took the time to visit. love u all. what a magical time with my cousin and his family who visited us from toronto over the weekend. sunday was perhaps the most beautiful winter day of the season with the woods clothed in immaculate snow and the sun shining its warm light on so much beauty. mendon ponds park’s ‘birdsong fairy trail’ was all it promised to be.
