Dahlia Wasfi: 25 years ago today (7pm EST 1/16/91; 3am Iraq time 1/17/91), the US started bombing Iraq–and hasn’t stopped. A quarter century of bombing a country about the size of California. Today, we’re actively bombing so many more. I pray for them all, and especially for Iraqis and Syrians, who bear the brunt of the hardship of the so-called War on ISIS.
