The American Jews prying open the conversation on the occupation

“I don’t think this is a problem unique to the American Jewish community. I think it is a problem that’s endemic to American society at large. I think that what we are seeing throughout the U.S. is a situation in which small groups of wealthy people hold disproportionate power. This is true in the country as a whole, and it’s true in our community. What we’ve seen in our community is that people abuse that power to curtail free speech and voices with whom they disagree. We are trying to fight back against this trend and create Jewish communities that are more open and more democratic.” More here.
