From Ather Zia: You may have heard of the devastating floods in Kashmir. The severity of this calamity is increasing. If anyone is thinking of sending money to Kashmir, please consider the group below. This group includes one of my close friends. I have full faith in their work. They have stepped up relief efforts on the ground after getting together in Delhi where most of them are based.
They were not accepting cash donations until now, but since the severity of the floods is increasing they need cash to sustain their efforts on the ground. If anyone has any questions please address them to the emails below. Once again, I want to emphasize that this group of people has dealt with calamities, natural or man-made, in the past and proven their compassion for their homeland. They will make sure that relief is provided where needed.
