thinking about the brave people of syria and the 6-year long horror unleashed on them, which no one seems to be in a hurry to stop. tired of people talking about syria as if it’s a natural disaster that must run its course. every country (and their grandma) is involved in exacerbating the violence in syria by financially aiding one faction or another, providing weapons to one side or another, bombing civilians or hospitals, training the government or the rebels, buying oil from or providing “medical help” to the party of their choice, decimating the country whilst simultaneously curtailing (and now reversing) the flow of desperate refugees. this human disgrace must end.
