Susan Abulhawa: I hate that black men (and all people of color) have to create videos like this to prove their humanity. it insults me that we are in this position of having to explain our lives and prove our decency as human beings to those lacking in the intellectual and moral fortitude necessary to see, of their own accord, these self evident truths.
