today is human rights day. side with freedom and justice. end brutal military occupations. stop torture, extrajudicial executions, indefinite detention w/o trial, the imprisonment of children and the death penalty. let’s put an end to colonialism, racism, sexism, homophobia and ableism. no more privilege based on economic and military might. everyone is equal and everyone should have access to the same rights and opportunities. enough cultural hegemony and exclusionary nationalist mythologies. and no more whitewashing of history. we should have been done with this drivel a long time ago. let’s make it happen now.
