On Presidents’ Day

The Decolonial Atlas: It’s Presidents’ Day, so let’s remember the Sullivan Campaign of 1779 ordered by George Washington to destroy the Iroquois Confederacy in Pennsylvania and Western New York, forcing them to flee their homeland. Washington, and all subsequent presidents, have henceforth been known in Seneca as Hanödaga:nyas or “Destroyer of towns.” #SuppressedHistory
